We have now partnered with a trusted online pharmacy to offer home delivery of your pet’s prescription medication, heartworm prevention, flea and tick control and nutritional products.* This convenient service will help ensure that your pets never run out of the food and medications that keep them well. 

This site also offers an Auto Ship program to have your pet’s heartworm prevention or flea and tick control delivered to you each month so you never need to worry about forgetting to order their meds. It will also help you spread the cost over an entire year.

*Current exam on file with Animal Wellness Center is required for online pharmacy access. 

If you prefer to get your prescription food and medications at another online retailer such as Chewy, 1-800-PetMeds, etc.:

We are happy to provide a prescription for use at these sites for a $5 convenience fee per interaction. Your pet must have a current exam on file with our hospital (within 1 year).

We understand our clients’ preference to use the pharmacy of their choice. However, the volume of prescriptions requested has increased over time. The process of getting these prescriptions verified, approved by our veterinarians and fulfilled by the outside pharmacy is a time-consuming process. Often the online pharmacies leave us on hold for 15-20 minutes, keeping a team member unable to answer incoming client calls or care for patients in the hospital. 

If you would like to avoid this $5 convenience fee, we have several options for you:

• You are always welcome to pick up a written prescription from our office at no additional charge and deal directly with your preferred pharmacy.

• We partner with an online pharmacy detailed above) that integrates with our practice management software, making prescription requests less time consuming. Turkey Creek clients are welcome to utilize this pharmacy at any time. Prices are often very competitive, and they offer frequent promo codes and discounts. Their medications are not diverted products and have the same guarantees that we offer in the practice.

• We are always happy to fill your prescription directly from our in-house pharmacy at Animal Wellness Center. We are a small business and can’t compete pricewise with large corporations, but we can get your medication filled by the next business day (or sooner if you have urgent need!).
